Frank Koolen in dialogue with Bettina Lamm
Come and experience the Dutch artist Frank Koolen in conversation with Bettina Lamm, senior lecturer in landscape architecture at Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management, University of Copenhagen. The event takes place on Saturday 19. September at 14 at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
"Playing is sometimes framed by the landscape and these frames, rules and borders imply a doubleness: They are both protective and destructive. Freedom requires frames and rules that one can relate too if not to feel completely lost. Playing is both breaking the rules and a freezone outside reality at the same time as playing is dependent on and tied up with the rules of reality", Koolen states.
Free admission at the event. No registration required. In English.
