It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the vernissage of the exhibition SUMMER by artist and chef Søren Aagaard. The exhibition shows homebuilt kitchen islands, cooking courses, seaweed, preserved food, an apocalyptic food truck amongst many other things.

Through his interest in specific produce and cultural, sociological and culinary history of different places, Aagaard speaks about phenomenons of our time such as climate, lifestyle and immigration. From a gastronomic and artistic perspective the exhibition strives to define “the local” and “the authentic” - also through direct dialogue with its guests.

The vernissage takes place May 22 17-19 at Museum of Contemporary Art, Stændertorvet 3A in Roskilde.
