[Stajəl]
The artistic duo Jamboy exhibits the work [Stajəl] - a cigarette company, whose sales profits go directly to cancer research, smoking stop campaigns, medical equipment etc. In this way the company both sustains and destroys its own livelihood through a radical marketing strategy. With this work, Jamboy examines the paradoxical, often invisible, structures behind monopolistic corporate social or ecological sustainability profiles and legitimacy. The work focuses on the relationship between economics and public health.
[Stajəl] Tobacco is not a fully developed brand. It is to be understood as an open, collective process originated from the company's website, which is continuously updated. Here it is possible to find information and participate in the tobacco production, if one is interested.

About [Stajəl]
[Stajəl] is a work that marks the start of a new large-scale social entrepreneurship project by Jamboy. [Stajəl] is the first socially oriented and responsible cigarette manufacturer ever. It is a health service financed by its own cigarette sales. In the current cigarette market, cigarettes are sold and distributed in a monopolistic structure of multinational corporations. The health consequences of cigarette industry are met through regulations, taxes and public health campaigns - until now, the gap between monopoly industries and public campaigns has made it harder for us to rethink and create a bridge between these conflicting parties!
[Stajəl] places itself in this unprecedented dimension between the tobacco industry and the health sector by offering locally produced cigarettes, whose economic surplus goes to cancer research, smoking prevention, smoking stop initiatives, medical equipment etc. The theory is simple. If you buy [Stajəl]you will help us to prevent, cure and provide guidance on the impact smoking has.
